Sudeep should stand with the people of Karnataka, not the party
We have no objection to Kichcha Sudeep's declaration of support to CM Basavaraja Bommai, but is it appropriate to support a government that is charged with 40% commission? Priyank Kharge, head of KPCC media and communication asked
Sudeep has made a wonderful contribution to the state. They are free to support anyone. He always stands in the forefront and talks about Kannada identity. He said that he should still stand for the people.
When Swamiji of Valmiki Samaj had held a sit-in for 300 days regarding reservation, if he had come and given moral support, would this same Bommayi Mama have been a Madista even before reservation? Sudeep came and said I am with you when the Swami of the society went on a fast in the sun. Bommai asked if he could have said that he would talk to uncle.
Banning Sudeep's films is not right. Many have been given work in movies. The film has been shot from a commercial perspective. At the same time, he said that it is not right to ban it. It is also not the right course of action. But if it is a political party, it should be banned. It is in the election rules itself. He said that we do not support blocking his movies.
Commenting on Amul's market entry in Karnataka, it is not saying that it should not compete in the free market. But in cooperative principle there is an unwritten rule or compromise. But there was an attempt to merge KMF with Amul. Considering all this, the BJP leaders are plotting to end the identity of Kannadigas. But the state BJP MLAs and MPs accused him of being silent spectators.
